The project delivered a complete performance transformation by eliminating light bleed and significantly enhancing display contrast, creating a superior user experience. Design simplification was achieved by replacing the complex dual-reflector system with an efficient single-film solution that was both more effective and easier to manufacture. Cost reduction was accomplished through more economical construction methods while simultaneously improving optical performance, demonstrating the power of intelligent design optimization. The solution showcased innovative lightguide design capabilities that set new benchmarks for LCD illumination in automotive applications.
